AFRICA & THE MIDDLE EAST

A GROWING FRESH PRODUCE POWERHOUSE

Across Africa and the Middle East, the fresh produce market is expanding steadily, driven by rising food demand, stronger food security strategies, and increasing investment in fresh fruits and vegetables production, packing, and cold chain logistics. As regional trade accelerates, the fresh produce industry is becoming a major growth driver across supply chains and export markets. Within this fast-evolving landscape, Egypt stands out as one of Africa’s most established export-oriented fresh produce producers, supported by strong agricultural capacity, improving logistics infrastructure, and a growing agri-business ecosystem connecting local production to regional and global fresh produce markets.

FRESH AFRICA 2026

A CONTINENTAL PLATFORM FOR FRESH PRODUCE

Fresh Africa 2026, the 6th edition of the leading B2B fresh produce exhibition, brings together the full spectrum of the fresh fruits and vegetables industry across Africa and international markets. The event connects growers, exporters, importers, retailers, distributors, and decision-makers to accelerate trade, partnerships, and business growth in the fresh produce sector.

Taking place from 7 to 10 December 2026 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in Cairo, Fresh Africa 2026 offers a high-impact platform to showcase fresh produce, discover market opportunities, and expand into one of the world’s fastest-growing regions for fresh food demand.

Held concurrently with Food Africa 2026, Africa’s leading international food and beverage trade exhibition, Fresh Africa benefits from strong cross-sector synergies and access to a wider network of buyers, distributors, importers, wholesalers, retailers, and food industry professionals from across the continent and beyond.
